I don't know if I will have other interesting ideas for 2010 in relation with our so loved instrument, the double bass or il Contrabbasso (it's also correct to wrire Contrabasso or even Controbasso). On of the most important thing that we have done is to illustrate all Bottesini's works thanks to an italian book that none can be able to tell to have. Here you can find everything you want to know about "Il Cremasco" and with only a click you can download these informations exactly as written from this site. The intent is that someone can translate it in a correct English so research about Bottesini can be go on. Most of his material his here in Italy but also the British Library has a lot of interesting things, as I have said into the site.
Then, my friend Tom Martin. It's an incredible man and he has told me a lot of things that it's impossible to tell you.
I'm waiting for an interview from him and I hope to publish it as soon as possible. It might be very interesting.
